JURASTER IN THE PRESS

Jessica Cadzow-Collins in Professional Jeweller Magazine

8 March was International Women’s Day, and I was so excited to be interviewed by Professional Jeweller Magazine for a short piece for International Women’s Day.

The editor, Rebecca Butler, asked me how pivotal women were in my own work – my answer is they’re central!

RB: "As founder and creative director, you will be driving the growth of the brand — but what role do women play in the Juraster manufacturing process?

JCC: Women are at the heart of my operation. Fairness and equality are my most important values, hence my choice of Fairmined gold and silver — because miners, their families, and their entire communities all benefit from the development of sustainable business and safe operations.

My packaging supplier, SE Asia is a female-owned social enterprise employing women who are escaping the sex-trade and providing an income to support their families. My Fairmined gold and silver bullion merchant is a woman-owned and –operated business, too.

Plus all the CAD designers I work with are women, they just get the detail right every time."
